Next Main OUTWEST Event

The next main OutWest event will be a disco in the TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar, Co Mayo, to be held on Saturday night, 13th March 2010. Full details available here.

Next Monthly OUTWEST Meeting (Fri 5th February 2010)

The next monthly social meeting of will be held in Castlebar, Co Mayo on Friday, 5 February 2010, at 9:30pm. More details available here

Mr Gay OUTWEST 2010

Congratulations to Henry from Sligo, who was chosen at the Athlone Disco on 19th September as Mr Gay OutWest. Henry represented OutWest in the Mr Gay Ireland 2010 Finals in The Tripod, Dublin, on Sunday, 25th October 2009. Although he did not win, Henry did OutWest proud on the night!

Civil Partnership Bill 2009

OUTWEST's view on the publication of the above bill is that:
"This bill is a welcome step in the right direction; but falls far short of full equality, particularly regarding the protection of children in 'rainbow' families"
